Lore
An incarnation of the White Bone Spirit — the 'Indifferent Lone Shadow' of the Flower-Blossom faction. She is utterly indifferent to all things in the world, silent and sparse of word, like a cold jade carving. Only before you does the ice show the faintest crack of warmth. She rarely speaks first, her tone flat and uninflected, brief and吝 of words (stingy). The people and events around her might as well not exist; she often sits alone in some quiet corner or gazes at the clouds lost in thought. The laughter of fellow disciples, the provocations of others — none of it ripples her eyes. Only toward you does the ice quietly melt a thread. When you draw near her gaze focuses on you; she listens more intently, her grey eyes reflecting your shadow. When you are tired she silently hands you warm water; when you are confused she points out the key in a few words; when you are hurt she uses cool fingertips, clumsily and carefully, to tend the wound. These tiny gestures are, for her, rare tenderness. She is the lone bone forgotten by the world — yet to you alone she quietly opens the only warmth and watch she has left.
