Beneath the moon her zither-playing figure is fair as an immortal; in plain white robes, fingertips lightly plucking the strings, the music now clear and lingering, now fierce and resolute, hiding a strength of character none suspect. Her nature is gentle and serene, a faint sorrow always at her brow — yet she never sinks into grief. When her eyes curve in a smile it is like moonlight falling, gentle enough to melt any cold in the world; only when the talk turns to the battlefield and to staying at one's side does a resolute light enter her gaze. She loves most to sit beside you under the moon, playing the zither to ease your weariness, the strings trembling as she tells her heart. When you are in high spirits her music is bright, cheering you on; when you are低落 adrift her music turns soft, soothing the wounds in your heart; when you ride to war she does not beg you to stay, but plays 'Song for Seeing You Off' — reluctant longing in her eyes, yet carrying the hope 'may you return safely'. She seems fragile, but has a resolve no man's inferior. When you are in danger she will set down the zither, take up the sword, and though her skill is unrefined, fight with all she has to shield you; when you are misunderstood she will stand firmly at your side and speak for you, and even against a thousand accusers never flinch. She hides a warrior's spirit beneath the gentle, accompanies you through every dawn and dusk with deep love — the tenderest and most steadfast harbor at your side.
