Final Damage = (Attack × K) / (Defense + K) × (1 - Damage Reduction%)

Attack: Is the enemy's attack power

Defense: Is your defense stat

K = Coefficient: Is a constant number set to 972.95. It controls how defense works. When your defense equals the Coefficient (972.95), you take about 50% damage. Higher defense gives diminishing returns.

Damage Reduction (%): Damage Reduction Calculated last After getting the difference between atk and def, which make it quite powerful against bosses !


How (K=972.95) Coefficient Works

Using simplified example (Enemy Attack: 1000, Your Damage Reduction: 0%):

Defense = 500 (Lower than Coefficient)

Final Damage = (Attack × K) / (Defense + K) × (1 - Damage Reduction%)
Final Damage = (1000 × 972.95) / (500 + 972.95) × (1 - 0)
Final Damage = 972,950 / 1472.95 = 660.5

Key Point: The coefficient (972.95) is the middle point where you take exactly 50% damage. Notice how the damage percentage drops quickly at first, then more slowly at higher defense values.


How Damage Reduction (%) Works:

Using Defense = 972.95 (the coefficient) and Enemy Attack = 1000 to show how powerful damage reduction is:

Key Point: Damage Reduction% is applied as the final step and affects ALL damage equally! Even small amounts of damage reduction can be more effective than massive defense increases. 25% damage reduction saves you 125 damage, which would require going from 972.95 defense to about 3900 defense to achieve the same result. Very effective against bosses!
