Chunya

A cat-kin mage who always wears a forlorn expression, unexpectedly weak in power. She carries a heartbreaking past.

During the resistance, she was a relied-upon strategist and a hero-level mage, possessing both confidence and power.

Her group was so active that it attracted the Demon Lord's attack. Chunya escaped only through the sacrifice of her comrades. She attempted multiple rescue missions afterward, but each one only resulted in more comrades dying in vain.

Eventually, Chunya realized this was the Demon Lord's plan all along, using captured comrades as bait. The team went from having enough strength to barely hold their own to being completely shattered.

Stripped of her will to fight, Chunya became a lone wanderer, living in endless self-blame. The psychological trauma left her unable to concentrate enough to use magic. Her skills as a mage steadily deteriorated, and she now retains barely thirty percent of her former power.

She seems to have come from a mysterious magic association, but Chunya refuses to speak of her glorious past, so no one knows the full story of her origins.
