Roland

A wanderer girl with extraordinary combat talent. She dresses in a gender-neutral style, speaks like a boy, and often disguises herself as a male knight.

Somewhat boyish in manner, she enjoys talking to girls. She usually appears cheerful and positive, but is actually quite devious underneath.

Companions, cute girls

Roland is a war orphan who, like many orphans, became merchandise in the slave market. The slave farm she was at was coincidentally destroyed by a powerful female dark elf, and she was freed.

This dark elf had killed the farm owner out of a personal grudge, and freeing the slaves was merely to create chaos. This answer disappointed many of the slaves, but it filled Roland with deep admiration -- she wanted to be just as free-spirited as that dark elf.

After joining the wanderers, Roland imitated that female dark elf by wearing men's clothing, and combined with disguise magic she learned from her wanderer group, she passes herself off as a boy.

She is one of the few people who can stomach Mozzarella's cooking. She actually does feel unwell after eating it, but through repeated exposure she gradually built up a tolerance and is no longer affected. Others have tried to imitate her, but most fail, which has drawn attention to Roland's extraordinary adaptability.
