Makusu

A half-minotaur skilled at caring for others, she uses a massive iron shield nearly large enough to cover her entire body to protect her companions.

Full of maternal warmth, yet at the same time like a little girl yearning to be loved and needed. She is always accommodating of others, and will find a way to fulfill even unreasonable requests.

Perfume, love potions

Makusu was born from a minotaur who violated her human mother, making her an infertile half-breed whose body appears almost entirely human. When she grew to adult human proportions, the minotaur race deemed her worthless as a warrior and drove her out into the wastelands.

While wandering the wilds, she eventually formed a group with Fenghua, Berubedou, and other wanderers. Her aptitude for caring for others made Makusu the group's leader.

She modeled her behavior after her human mother, her every action imbued with maternal love. In truth, this was a reflection of her inner yearning to be loved, wanting to feel needed rather than treated as a discard.

She tried her best to please everyone, and though she was the group leader, she acted more like a subordinate. Ultimately, the group was scattered when they could not escape demon pursuit, and her companions' accusations broke Makusu's heart.

Along with a few others, she was forced to sell herself to slave merchants in exchange for food.
