Beibeko's true identity is the Kingdom's 111th Hero.
She was originally a kind-hearted village girl who dreamed of becoming a baker. A high-ranking kingdom official discovered she had hero potential and tricked her into developing it.
Since the Demon Lord was extremely ruthless - heroes would be targeted and killed as soon as they left safe zones - being a hero was essentially a death sentence. Beibeko was tricked into going, mistakenly thinking it was baker training. The trainer, to cover up the lie, made up explanations, which resulted in her learning to materialize bread using magic...
Upon learning she had been set up to become a hero, she liked helping people but couldn't accept a mission that would send her to her death, so she escaped the kingdom and became a wanderer. Giving up the hero role left her feeling guilty, and with her helpful nature, she worked hard to assist other wanderers. Though her bread-making skills really do need improvement.
