这件工具的本来用途，是为了在野战中快速检测生体讯号，并测量神圣力反应而制作的先进医疗装备。然而，由于初期裂缝局技术工学部部分成员过度的热情，这件装备的内部骨架被加强得远超所需，并以极度精密、平衡良好的形式完成。其结果便是——这个小小的诊疗器具在成为精密检诊器之前，就先成为一件拥有完美硬度与平衡性的强力钝器兼防具。最终，除了少数特别人士外，几乎无法再作为医疗用途使用，但光是内建的战斗辅助功能，就足以让它作为武器拥有极高价值。
